A reason for change in the routine

Hi All,

It's been a long time since i wrote, but that obviously does not mean that i am not at it. I am very much working out, making the most of my strength, energy and enthusiasm.

I am guilty again for making the change in my routine again, yes i changed a winning schedule. On the previous schedule i got a few complements at work and i myself felt i was growing.
Sometimes people do things which they should not, and i am the guilty person here.
If you remember i was on a Full body routine with the following in my schedule:-
1. Squat
2. Bench Press
3. Deadlift
4. Calf Raise
5. BB-Rows
6. Shoulder Press
7. Barbell Curls
8. Crunch Style Situp

If you see these are 8 exercises and were causing a lot of exhaustion by the end of the routine. So i go back to the books thinking that i might have a solution for this. Well, they say, you should never change a Winning Combination. But i am a fool.

The concern was Squat and Deadlift in the same session and then Bench Press and Shoulder Press in the same session. Though i was gaining in strength and size, i wanted to change things around. So Beyond Brawn again.
I split the routine into two workouts, A & B, this is as the book suggests with my own additions offcourse.

Workout A - Monday
1. Squat 90kgX8
2. Pullovers 12X14
3. Bench Press 62X6
4. T-Bar Rows 55X11
5. BB Curls 36X4
Workout B - Friday
1. Deadlift 90X14
2. Pullover 12X14
3. Shoulder Press 42X7
4. Chinups 3 sets of BW. I managed 6 in the first set.
5. Dips 12X8.

Actually if you see this is a good routine, but i wasn't seeing much in the form of progress, hitting a movement just once a week is too less and i don't like it that way. I get too anxious. I know, this is what Stuart McRobert preaches, slow steady increases, but this is something which i can't follow, i am sorry. And when i am not happy with the routine my search on the internet starts again. So there again has to be a change. The next workout i have made the following sketch for the routine to follow, this is actually the modified version of the old timers Squat and Milk Routine.

Do a warm up on the cycle for 5 minutes before the workout, its very important. And then follow this:-

1. Shoulder Press
2. Squat SS with Pullovers
3. Bench Press
4. T-Bar Rows
5. Deadlift Superset with Pullovers
6. BB Curls

All exercises are to be taken to absolute failure. If specialization is required on a bodypart, more work would be required there, but the basic core movements have to be followed by a Natural gym goer with no supplementation involved. Yes, i am one of them.

We have to top this up with a gallon of milk as this is a squat and milk program. I myself want to cut down on my fat, which is at present floating at 14%.
To have my abs to show up i feel my fat percentage would need to come down to 8 to 9. So i feel this routine will be done on Tuesdays and Fridays giving me a chance to hit cardio on Wednesday, Sunday, and any other day that i can squeze in between.
Diet would also need some cleaning to be done. On diet i will come back, but i personally feel that a well balanced diet that keeps a little bit of calorie deficit at the end of the day is all that is needed to get the dream physique.
